According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement in force (Article 38), its beneficiaries are entitled to the following paid leaves:
PAID LEAVES OF ABSENCE FOR WORKERS The workers shall have the right to enjoy the following paid leaves of absence, subject to prior notice given verbally or in writing to his/her supervisor and reported in writing to the Talent Management area:
- Workers who get married shall have the right to FIVE (5) days off, for one time only.
- For birth or adoption of a child, the mother and/or father shall be granted 1 day off in addition to the paid leave provided by applicable law.
- For the death of parents, spouse or permanent companion, children, grandparents, brothers or sisters or mother or father in law, the legal leave of absence for mourning shall be granted, plus 1 additional day.
PARAGRAPH: If the event takes place outside the worker’s place of residence, 1 additional day shall be granted to the term stated above.
- In the event of a duly demonstrated family emergency not included in the above subsections, the company may grant a paid leave of absence to be determined depending on each situation and the availability and needs of the company.
- The Company shall grant one additional hour per day to the time granted by law to mothers for breastfeeding of their children, from 26 when they return from their maternity leave and until the child is SIX (6) months old. This hour may be taken at the start or at the end of the work shift.
- The Company at its discretion may grant paid leaves of absence requested in writing by workers involved in amateur sports and who stand out in their respective disciplines, to enable them to participate in sports events, as long as the circumstances justify doing so.
PARAGRAPH. In these cases, no deductions will be made from the basic salary amount. Within the next week from having made use of the paid leave of absence, the worker must submit to the Talent Management area the certificates or documents that justify the respective leave of absence.
