Access to the National Gas Transportation System: It is the use of the Natural Gas Transportation Systems through the payment of the corresponding charges, with the rights and duties established by the Single Transportation Regulation and its complementary regulations.
Operational Agents or Agents: Natural or legal persons between whom there are technical and/or commercial relationships for the purchase, sale, supply and/or transportation of Natural Gas, starting from production and going through the transportation systems until reaching the point output of a user. Producers - marketers are Agents; marketers, distributors, transporters, non-regulated users and independent storers.
Gas Quality: Natural Gas specifications and standards adopted by the CREG in this regulation, and in the regulations that add, modify or replace it.
Contracted Capacity: Natural gas transportation capacity that the sender contracts with the transporter for the transportation service expressed in thousands of standard cubic feet per day (kpcd) or in its equivalent units in the International System of Units.
Available Primary Capacity: Is that capacity available to the transporter and that, according to the contracts signed, is not committed as firm capacity.

Maximum capacity of the gas pipeline: Maximum daily transport capacity of a gas pipeline defined by the transporter, calculated with gas flow dynamics models using an inlet pressure of 1,200 psi, the pressures for the different exit points of the same and the specific parameters of the fluid and the gas pipeline.
Firm capacity: Capacity that, in accordance with the signed contracts, cannot be interrupted by the carrier, except in cases of emergency or force majeure.
Commission or CREG: Energy and Gas Regulation Commission, organized as a Special Administrative Unit of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in accordance with Laws 142 and 143 of 1994.
Standard conditions: They define the standard cubic foot (meter) as the volume of gas, real and dry (that meets the specifications of the RUT, in terms of concentration of water vapor) contained in a cubic foot (meter) at an absolute pressure of 14.65 psi (1.01 bar absolute), and at a temperature of 60 °F (15.56 °C). The volumes and all the volumetric properties of the gas transported by the National Transportation System shall refer to these conditions.
Documents, communications, etc., related to the natural gas transportation business, where standard conditions are mentioned, these should be understood as absolute pressure of 14.65 psi and temperature of 60 °F (1.01 absolute bar and 15.56 °C). Any other condition must be explicitly stated.
Connection: Section of gas pipeline that allows connection to the National Transportation System, from the Entry Points or Exit Points, the Custody Transfer Stations.
Transportation Contract: Agreement of wills that is signed between a Transporter and a Sender for the provision of the natural gas transportation service, subject to the regulation explained by the CREG, to the relevant regulations of Law 142 of 1994 and Private Law. 

Balance Account: It is the accumulated difference between the amount of energy delivered and the amount of energy taken by a sender during one (1) month.
Energy Imbalance: It is defined as the difference between the amount of energy delivered and the amount of energy taken by a sender in a day of gas.
Gas Day: Official day of the Republic of Colombia that goes from 0:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., during which the supply and transportation of gas is carried out.
Compression Stations: Refers to the compression stations of: Hatonuevo, La Jagua del Pilar, Casacará, Curumaní, Norean, San Alberto, Barrancabermeja, Vasconia, Puente Guillermo, Miraflores, Padua, Mariquita and La Sabana.
Natural Gas: It is a mixture of light hydrocarbons, mainly made up of methane, which is found in deposits in free form or associated with oil. When required, natural gas must be conditioned or treated so that it meets the gas quality conditions established in the RUT, and in the regulations that add, modify or replace it.
Release of capacity: Act by which senders sell or assign firm capacity for consideration, partially or totally, temporarily or permanently, to another sender, whenever technically possible.
Transportation Nomination: It is the daily service request for the following day of gas, presented by the sender to the transporter, specifying the amount of energy to be transported hourly, or daily, in the case of distributors; the calorific value of the gas; as well as Entry and Exit Points.
First Purchase Option (POC): Preferential offer of transitory transportation capacity to be converted into firm that the carrier undertakes to present to the sender, when someone other than the latter requests firm transportation capacity, provided that the quantities requested exceed the transport capacity available in the gas pipeline.

Entry point: Point at which the gas is injected into the transportation system from the connection of the respective agent. The Entry Point includes the connection valve and the "T" or other bypass fitting.
Exit point: Point at which the Transporter injects the gas to the Connection of the respective Agent. E Point of Outlet includes the connection valve and the "T" or other bypass fitting.
Sender: Natural or legal person with whom a Transporter has entered into a contract to provide the natural gas transportation service. It can be any of the following agents: producer - marketer, marketer, distributor, storer, non-regulated user, regulated user.
Transportation System: Set of gas pipelines of the National Transportation System that make up the assets of a Transportation company.
Auction: Structured procedure for buying and selling goods or services with formal rules, in which potential buyers and/or sellers can make offers.
Authorized Volume: Volume of natural gas that the sender has the right to take from the Gas Transportation System on the day of gas and that has been previously approved by the transporter.
Volume Delivered: volume of natural gas that the sender or his representative delivers during the gas day at the point of entry.
Volume Taken: Volume of natural gas that the sender takes during the gas day at the point of departure.

The Natural Gas sector classifies the activities carried out by the agents of the chain for the provision of gas services in: Production and processing, natural gas transportation, storage and distribution.

The scope of each of the activities is as follows:

Production and process: It is based on geophysical studies to determine the possible location of deposits that may contain oil and gas, by means of different equipment and methods the gas is extracted from the subsoil to the surface, generally the pressure of the gas in the deposit is greater than the atmospheric, therefore, the gas comes out by itself without external intervention, from the subsoil to the surface. After extracting the Natural Gas, it is necessary to process it so that it can meet all the requirements for its safe use, this is done in the processing stage.

Transport of natural gas: The gas produced, after being processed with the RUT quality specifications, is delivered by the producer to the Transporter so that it is in charge of taking it to where the Senders require it, the transport can be carried out in several ways, being the more conventional through pipes do. Colombia has a gas pipeline network of more than 6,900km where the following natural gas carriers operate

Storage: Natural gas can be stored in large underground tanks or chains, these tanks work as a "bank" and are crucial to solve huge demands (seasonal loads) or shortage situations.

Distribution: Final part of the value chain where natural gas is delivered to the consumer for its different uses.

It is a mixed public utility company that provides complementary gas transportation services, with social responsibility, world-class practices and an innovative, efficient and high-quality human team, leading the market in the gas transportation sector in Colombia ( Oil & Gas sector), by operating the largest gas pipeline network in Colombia. Its largest shareholder is Empresa de Energia de Bogota - EEB, parent company of Grupo Energia Bogota, which is one of the most important business groups in Colombia, dedicated to the energy sector with an international presence, such as Peru and Guatemala.

The main activity of the company is framed in the transport of natural gas from the production fields to the senders or clients, through high pressure gas pipelines and related or complementary activities. Transportadora de Gas Internacional participates in this chain thanks to its transportation network, which is made up of a system of eight (8) main gas pipelines, connected to regional branches, which transport gas to the municipalities. TGI's network consists of large-diameter steel underground pipelines through which natural gas is transported at a pressure between 500 and 1,400 psi.

Currently, the company is the largest natural gas transporter in Colombia, with 3,957 kilometers of gas pipelines, it has an available capacity of 733.8 MPCD (million cubic feet per day) with which it serves the most populated areas of the country. such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, the Coffee Region and the Piedemonte Llanero. The company carries out the operation and maintenance of the most extensive gas pipeline network in Colombia, from Guajira to Valle del Cauca and from the Llanos Orientales to Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Tolima and Huila.

TGI's main operating business is planning, organization, design, construction, expansion, maintenance, operation and commercial exploitation of its own natural gas transportation systems and hydrocarbon transportation systems in all their forms, as well as such as the commercial exploitation of the capacity of gas pipelines owned by third parties for which an availability fee is paid, among other activities contemplated in its Bylaws.

Statutory Auditor
TGI has a Statutory Auditor, elected by the General Assembly of Shareholders, for a period of two years. For the year 2016, TGI selected the firm Deloitte & Touche Ltda as the tax auditor. The services it offers at a global level revolve around the areas of consulting, taxes, legal advice, financial advice and auditing.

Superintendence of Public Services
The Superintendency of Home Public Services, Superservices, is a technical body, created by the 1991 Constitution, which by delegation of the President of the Republic of Colombia, exercises inspection, surveillance and control of entities and companies providing home public services.

External Auditor of Management and Results
In compliance with article 51 of Law 142 of 1994, the Company has an External Auditor of Management and Results whose report is submitted annually to the Superintendence of Residential Public Services. The report corresponding to the period immediately preceding, regarding the financial and accounting information at the end of the year and other reports required.

Office of the Comptroller of Bogotá D.C.
The Comptroller's Office exercises fiscal control every year, which is presented to the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors for analysis.

Superintendency of companies
The Superintendence of Companies is a technical body, attached to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, with legal status, administrative autonomy and its own assets, through which the President of the Republic exercises the inspection, surveillance and control of commercial companies, as well as as well as the powers indicated by law in relation to other entities, legal persons and natural persons.

Legal Compliance: In Colombia, Law 964 of 2005 and other regulations applicable to state-owned companies establish restrictions on the shareholding of board members. These guidelines fully comply with these legal provisions, demonstrating our commitment to legality and business ethics.
